Our wood-metal system has been introduced in Germany several decades ago as a result of failing metal-clad products. This window consists of an extruded metal in either aluminum, copper or bronze profiles attached to a wood window. The space between the metal and the wood allows for drainage which we achieve with a triple, sloped gasket system. All miters are welded and coated before assembly.

This product is available in any wood species including some softer woods such as Alder and Spruce that we would not recommend for solid wood windows. Although our wood-metal window is markedly more expensive than American metal-clad counterparts, it is the best window product with maintenance free exterior surface and real interior wood in the industry today.
